Readers who love, or yearn to love, being asked to help others, know that a conscious relationship requires that they face up to their thoughts about themselves. They go to an edge, an edge that All Beings at Harmony are living on, an edge that is explored in this newsletter and other articles posted to: http://harmonyfarm.wordpress.com/
On this edge they either grow or go. There is not half-way when they walk the narrow path to understanding themselves and others. These edge-walkers are encouraged and supported by the articles published at http://harmonyforest.wordpress.com/ and gemstonetherapy.info. These supportive articles appear in “All Beings” and “Deep Ecology” and other sections. Now rather than checking each week to see if something they are keen to read has been posted such readers can simply click on the Feed On: Posts at the top of the pages at http://harmonyfarm.wordpress.com/ and http://harmonyforest.wordpress.com/
This writer likes to live on this edge as it is a place from which Harmony and Spirit give him the divine gifts – opportunities to grow, at any time of day or night – that make every other way of living boring to contemplate. The edge feels like it is sometimes lost, but it is earned again and again by those who explore consciousness. However the ways that won back the edge yesterday no longer work today. Each day is begun anew. Each time it is re-winning the edge takes new skills, new insights, and new experiences, all of which take the edge-walker to new heights they have not lived at before.
When the mid-summer sun lights the southern day for 18 hours, and burns intensely it can be tempting to block it out. Just as it is important to rest from sun’s mid-day intensity, by taking a siesta, it is important to rest on the edge at times.
In the height of summer it is tempting to ignore the late and early lights in order to get enough sleep to feel like waking up in the mornings. An animal at Harmony, I’ll call David, to preserve his anonymity, was tired come Solstice and thought to get more sleep through to summer equinox in just this way. Another at Harmony I’ll also call an animal was however part of a divine plan that realised David was doing more than he knew. He was also disconnecting from the night and the night animals. This second animal I’ll call “Nitey”, and/or his wise Guardians, knew that they could arose David from his slumber, around mid-night by climbing on the outside of the building in which he slept. As they might have predicted he even awoke bolt upright one night to close the window he saw an animal at it. Maybe he had, maybe he hadn’t, he was too sleepy to know, but it remained in his memory, until after more several nights of being awakened, he, in desperation, decided to contemplate on the matter.
That doesn’t mean he was human, as other animals contemplate, and maybe he was a cat! What it does mean is that his Inner Master and the Others at Harmony finally got his invitation to tell him why they were keeping him up nights. They said “he was cutting himself off from half of Harmony – the half that is at night.
Inspired by this insight David was up half the next night connecting with the animals and plants. The night after he slept well, and little sounds throughout the night reminded him to stay connected, while he got “a decent night’s sleep”.
The following night he met Nitey and very kindly asked him to not climb on his roof. Nitey kindly left, and David is keen to see that Nitey has no more messages to deliver in the dark hours of mid-night.
Perhaps the rest of the summer nights will leave him in peace. I suspect not, as peace is not a condition, Harmony is, and it requires Soul to walk the edge. It always brings new experiences to open All Beings to love. When they feel least ready they are often most able to learn.

On that worldly front David will be moving his clinic to 9 Dowling St (next to car park) on February 9th.
From that time I will also be open for business by appointment at Harmony. While I will only be available for massages in town; massages will start at Harmony once Danaa (Earth building) is dressed inside. Later they will move to where clients will be held in the arms of the trees – the platform in the trees will become the Massage Clnic. Naturopathy, iridology, kinesiology, herbal medicine, and spiritual aid will be at both 9 Dowling St and in newly built Herbal Clinic, affectionately and simply known as “Herby”. at Harmony. Visit Clinics.
When you come for a visit I will be excited to show you the hand-powered stone mill. Fresh ground and bake bread is “the staff of life” and tasty too! If you want to bring raw organic carrots or apples we can also juice it together – hand-powered. A healthy lifestyle is traditionally the starting place for all Naturopathy.
Also in February Harmony starts the New Student Intern Study Program. The first project for those studying the sustainable building course will be to the last of Danaa’s cob earth wall 9am to 5pm on Saturday February 7th and Sunday 8th. Then a new cob-oven. Workshops run until May. Let interested friends know and visit: WeekendCourses as well as 14 Day Block Courses.
Yours
