David has just added that a little mouse came to New Year’s Day dinner, maybe it was Rataouille, to their new website, http://harmonyforest.wordpress.com which has stories of many interesting experiences communicating with animals and plants.
The little mouse had been out and about, and as with so many experiences that you can read about at http://harmonyforest.wordpress.com, David and Lorraine say “they had been talking to it before hand, reassuring it that as long as it didn’t come inside it was welcome to come up onto the porch, and clean up the crumbs”.
And come up onto the porch it did, climbed right up as high as the tops of their chairs, and looked them in the eye for several seconds, then popped back down again; giving David, another of the experiences he loves to share with you at http://harmonyforest.wordpress.com.
They both wondered if it was the same mouse that made several trips under their noses carrying papery bark to its nest near David’s cabin. Or maybe it was the mouse that ate the nuts that moved Lorraine moved outside, when she discovered them being eaten inside. Maybe it was even the mouse that got shut inside until Lorraine understood it was eating the bottom of her door because it was desperate to be outside. They certainly haven’t seen that one inside again!
